Last Disneyland Trip of the Summer

Summer is officially over for us, but we did get one final day to enjoy it. That’s right, one last Disneyland trip. Our third wedding anniversary was last week, so we used that as our excuse.

I know I’ve talked before about how much I love Disney and how it helps with my creativity and writing. Believing in the impossible is fun, but actually experiencing it is indescribable.

Physically interacting with characters you’ve only seen on screens is truly phenomenal. It makes you believe.

If you were unaware of my Star Wars obsession, then you don’t pay enough attention to my life. I finally got to watch the live action Jedi Training Academy show at Disneyland where they bring out a group of kids from the audience and teach train them with lightsabers. It’s a whole show that can be different every time depending on the kids and the actors. It brings the stories to life. Also, my dream job is to be a trainer at the Jedi Academy.

Whatever your passion, fairy tales and castles, wizards, legos, etc. enjoy it to it’s fullest. Let it inspire you. Take that passion and let it fill you with life.

And don’t forget to spoil yourself a little every once in a while. Share your passion with pride. Don’t let others judge you for what you enjoy because everyone has a passion, though some think it is shameful. Be a geek and love it because there are others out there who share your passions and will accept, even celebrate, you for it. All in all, only your happiness matters, so let it shine.
